    of these land-lords had agents who gathered the rents for them. Lord Aurdalauns agent was Carroll Leahy and Lord Bantry's was Mr. Payne. They had an office in Castletown, and the people went in there to pay them. They paid the rent in March, and September, and if they did not, the agents came to the house for it.
    A landlord whose name was Lord Bantry owned our farm. Our farm is situated about half a mile north from this school. It consists of twenty acres, of land, and long ago the rent was sixteen pounds. My grandfather kept eight cows in
