    he invited them to a feast.
    When the feast was over, Diarmuid and Fionn went to the top of a neighbouring hill. They saw a wild boar coming towards them. Fionn warned Diarmuid to keep out of his way, but Diarmuid waited until the boar came up, and then attacked it. He killed the boar, but he got badly wounded. He asked Fionn to bring him water but he refused. Diarmuid died and when Gráinne heard of it she died from grief.
