    six inches deep, which is supposed to cure warts. The well is cut out in a rock the shape of a foot
    Sulphar and lard are supposed to cure ring-worm. If applied in time, or to grind bluestone[?] and rub it to the sore in itself.
    To rub breadsoda to a burn is also a local cure, or white flour is supposed to keep the sore from blistering.
    I collect a plant called Wild Sage found growing near fences. Boil it, and consume the juice. It is supposed to be good for an ailing stomach.
    To boil Dandelion, and drink the juice is also a cure for an ailing stomach.
    Goose-grease is another local cure for Rheumatism, sprains, and bruises.
