    There is a small river meeting the Abha Bu[?] between the parish of Aghinagh and Clona[?] and any horse who walks through this on nine successive mornings is cured of farcy.
    Dry murn and red water:-
    The bark of the oak cures[?] the dry murn and the bark of the [?] cures the red water.
    Dropsey:-
    Long ago people used boil the bism[?] drink the water and then they were cured[?] of dropsey.
    Burn:-
    If a person licked an arch luachra nine times he would have a cure for a burn.
    Whoopingcough:-
    A cure for whooping cough was to ask the first man with a white horse the cure for it and what he would say was sure to cure it.
