    Baunakane means an enclosed hillock. The graveyard slopes towards the east. It is thought that there was a religious house there also.
    There is also what is called "Kiels" in this parish, or unused graveyards.
    They are situated in the following townlands; Cusheen, Kilbronogue and Coolagh. They slope towards the east. It is thought that it was Unbaptised children were buried int the Kilbronogue "Kiel" And it is supposed that it was children were buried in the Cusheen and Coolagh "Kiels".
