  1. There are a great many games played by the children of this locality nowadays, both at home and at school. The names of the games are as follows:- "Colours," "Hide-and-go-seek," "Gates Locked," "Blind-man's-Buff," "Oranges and Lemons," "Frog-in-the-middle," "Four-corned-Fool."
"Frog-in the middle" is played in the following way:- A number of children stand in a circle and another child kneels in the centre of the circle, and closes his eyes, this child is called a frog. The circle of children move around the "frog" and whoever is touched first by him must act as frog next. "Blind-man's'-Buff" also contains great amusement. it is played the following way:- One person is blindfolded with a piece of cloth, a great many children run around him, and whoever is touched first by him must be blindfolded next.
"Four-cornered-Fool" is also an amusing game. A number of children get a stone each and stand on it. Another child stands in the centre of the circle and is called a "fool," then the children exchange stones with each other, and the "fool" watches his chance to take some other person's place.
