- The wild birds that are commonly seen or known in my district are:- the Robin; the Rook; the Jackdaw; the Thrush; the Lark; the Blackbird; the Yellowhammer; the Seagull; the Cuckoo; the Wren; the Magpie; the Curlew; and the Swallow; The Cuckoo and the Swallow, are migratory birds. The Wren is called the king of all the birds because she flew higher than any other bird. The weather can be judged by the crow because if the day is going to be wet the crow will not fly far away.
