Few birds migrate in this district.
The following are the names of the places in which each bird builds its nest:- the rook builds its nest on tree-tops; its nest is big, and is made with sticks, the wren builds its nest in holes of fences its nest is big, and is covered at the top, with a small entrance at the side, the eggs are small, the colour is white, with brown spots on them.
The blackbird builds a good big nest, and lays four eggs.
The thrush builds nearly the same kind of nest as the blackbird, and lays four eggs. The robin builds its nest in holes of fences; its nest and eggs are small.
