- In the bad times a priest lived in hiding at Shanagh, Dunmanway. Place name - Tobairín a tsagairt. A well covered with large flags now filled in. Not used for years. ] Feic 1. 103 Shinagh is about two miles west of Liscroneen in a straight line.
