    would do so on his return journey. Sean Dearg's son replied that he should come immediately, so the priest told his own servant to go back to the presbytery and get another priest. He also told him to bring him his stole and three dozen handkerchiefs.
    When the priest had got his stole and handkerchiefs, Sean Dearg's son told the priest to prove that his father was in hell.
    The priest went into a room where he prayed till he had the handkerchiefs used from wiping his face.
    When he had the handkerchiefs used Sean Dearg came into the room with chains on his hands and feet.
    Sean Dearg's son asked the priest to send Sean Dearg back to hell as the smell of brimstone was terrible, but the priest would not do so.
    Then all the people gathered together and asked the priest to send Sean Dearg back to hell as they were afraid of him when he was roaming about.
