    falls and great rainstorms at different times.
    About twenty seven years ago a great thunderstorm occurred. Great damage was caused by it. The lightning that accompanied the thunderstorm did most damage. A neighbour of mine named Mr. Collins lost a mare and foal that were struck by lightning.
    In the year eighteen ninety five, in the month of February, a great snowstorm occurred. Many farmers lost sheep and lambs in the snow. The wild geese used to come into the farmers yards in search of food.
    In place the snow was level with the hedge.
