    The wild geese fly west to the Kerry mountains
    When the crows search for food all day
    The sky gets red, the clouds roll along the sky.
    The crows fly from tree to tree and cluster together on a certain tree.
    Signs of bad weather are:-
    The dog eats grass
    The cricket chirps on the hearth
    The pimpernell closes
    The fire gets blue
    The smoke turns out
    The cow lies down and keeps a dry spot for herself.
