    My house is situated in Shanakiel in the parish of Banteer, in the barony of Muskerry. There are eleven families in the townland of these eleven houses six are slated, two are thatched and three are covered with iron. There are seven farmers houses, two labourers cottages a forge and a labourers house. There are fifty one people living in the townland. There is a public house also. There are two old men in this place and they are

    and Tim Kelleher of the same address Dan Riordan can speak Irish
