  1. Local Fairy Forts
There a lot of fairy forts in my home district. There is a fort in Tooreigh in Mr Power’s farm. It is square in shape and there are a lot of bushes growing on its ditches. There are a number of gaps leading into this fort. It is said that a light used to be seen there long ago. It is said that the fairies were hurling there every night long ago.
There is another fort in Shraharla. It is in Sweeney’s Land. It is said that there used to be a bell heard ringing in that fort every night at the same hour. This fort is triangular in shape and is overgrown with bushes and nettles. This fort is very remarkable as it is situated on the top of a hill.
