    used to drill. There is a stone in another field convenient to the other one and a cross and prints of fingers can be seen on it and it is said that it was a mass-rock. There is a holy well in the townland also by the name of "St Bridgid's Well and the people made rounds to it and they left in honour of their visit some little relic. Close by it is a fort or [?]. It was Mrs. Donovan who told me this story.
