- Béaloideas - BreadIn years gone the people did not use the same kind of bread as they use at the present time. The kind of Bread used was barley bread. The way they made this bread is they used to get the barley crushed. Then they mixed it with bread-soda and creamoftarter and wet it with water and butter milk. The instrument that the people used to bake the cake in it a griddle or a round thing like a pan with ears. The griddle is round with an ear on each side of it the would lay it on the fire with the cake on it

- Béaloideas - BreadMany years ago from barm and flour and wet with cow milk. This bread was mixed in the evening and left rest until next morning. Then it would be baked in a griddle or a bastible. The griddle is round with an ear on each side.
