    They used to have the table by the wall. They had no bread. Meat was not eaten that time as often as it is eaten now.
    Long ago you would only get a bit of meat to eat at Xmas time but the gentry used to have it. They used all kinds of meat, but they used to kill old cows for Xmas.
    They used all have fish, and vegetables. Is is over seventy years since tea was first used in this district.
    They used to have tin saucepans and "piggins"; they were timber cups, timber saucers, and timber plates.
