    There are standing stones in a field near my house in Birch Hill Blarney. They are in the middle of the field. There are three stones together. There are stories told about these stones. Some people say they were first seen near the village of Blarney but they shifted to Birch Hill. It was said that a giant was the cause of shifting them but other people say it was how they were stolen by some robbers one night.
