  1. The games I play are hurley, bowling pitch and toss, tig, slates, cards, buz and bird cribbing.
    During the winter months I play hurley out of doors. On the winter nights I play card games such as "twenty five" "forty five" "one hundred and ten" "beg of my neighbour "whist" and "besique". When I sit at the fire on winter nights I play buz. Buz can be played among any number of players up to eight or over. Each person in his turn says a number from 1 continuing up to 47. At seven or a multiple of seven each player says buz instead of that number. Whoever forgets to say this is out and so the game continues until all are out except the winner.
