  1. There are two fairy forts in my district. They are called by the name of liss. One of these is in the townland of Fahalea in our farm. Another is in the townland of Cummeen in the lands of Mr. John Kingston of Bayview Carrigaline. There is another liss in Aghamarta in the lands of Mr. E. J. Clarke Aghamarta Carrigaline. You can see the liss in Cummeen from the liss in Aghamarta and you can nearly see the liss in Fahalea from the Cummeen Liss. The owner of the liss in Cummeen levelled more than half of it many years ago. This man was the late Mr. Hayes of Bayview Carrigaline. Near this liss the Cummeen races were held and the half of the fort formed the "Grand Stand".
