    stones and the print of his hoofs still remains on them. The donkey got a white thorn on his hoof and when he came home St Ita took out the thorn and stuck it downwards. The thorn grew up to be a big whitethorn bush and every thorn that grew on that bush grew downwards. There is a well in Kileedy called St Ita's well and lots of people visit that well, especially on Jan 15th St Ita's is also buried in Kileedy and many girls are called after her in this locality.
