    time and burned because all things which are blessed should be burned when they are no more use.
    Easter Saturday comes next and the priest blesses the holy water and people come to the church to bring some home with them. On Easter Sunday it is our usual custom to eat more eggs then usual.
    Chalk Sunday, which is the first Sunday in Lent was a great day long ago for everyone. They used to mark BACHELOR'S back going to mass but it is not done now. On May Eve people sprinkle holy water on the cattle and sometimes on the crops. On St John's night, Lyod's hill which is not far from Feenagh is red with bonfires.
