- (continued from previous page)The local graveyard is adjacent to the town and it is surrounded by a stone wall and an iron gate at the entrance.
This gate is only large enough to permit the men and coffin to pass through. The path around the graveyard is not a gravel path, as in other graveyards, as in the layout of the graves, there is a great unevenness as graves are of different sizes, some extending beyond others and some are without any kind of marks to show the owners or families buried there. There are a great number of people buried within the ruins amongst them there is a priest named Father Quinn. There is a kind of a graveyard for unbaptised children close to Knocktoosh and a number of children are buried there.
There are graves for unbaptised children in the local graveyard, and they are made under the pathway or close to the side of the wall and this portion of the burial grounds is supposed to be outside the(continues on next page)- Collector
