  2. Thunder Storm.
    In the May of 1905 there was a terrible thunder storm. The Carmody's of Kildimo were coming home from Mass in a horse and car. As they were passing a little girl of the Kirby's a flash of lightning killed the horse and burnt the shoes off the little girl's feet.
