    pot of gold. He took the gold into the house and laid it on the hob beside the fire. It happened at that time, that the poor scholar was going around, and Micheal Keating's grandfather got him to read the inscription written on the pot. The poor scholar read carelessly aloud "as much more on the other side", not understanding what it meant. The next day Micheal Keating's grandfather dug at the other side of the bush, and got another pot of gold. And it is an old belief that this is the way that Michael Keating's grandfather brought all his land.
