  1. When I made a crib I got hazel rods about one foot long. I took four and make a square frame. Then I put a double cord from each corner and built up the sticks inside by laying them over each other and fastened by the cord when they are piled so as to make a type of cover dish. A stick is twisted in between the four cords and tightened. A bow and gablog are got. The bow is put in at two corners so as to make a letter D. The gablog is longside the crib and a piece of a cipin is placed to keep the crib up.
