  1. In a fort near my house gold is believed to be hidden. It is said that the person who would go to look for the gold he should be prepared for death if he did not find it. In the same fort Mrs Shannahons mother appeared after her death. She was seen for a few nights and in her hand she had a bat of red seeds. In the same fort the bean-sidhe was heard. And gold is also believed to be hidden in O Connell fort.
