- A woman named Mrs Quaid lived in Burke's holl house. One day as she was churning she could not bring the butter. She got "coulter" of a plough and reddened the iron she put it under the churn then she got three sods of burning turf and put them under the churn. She then knelt and prayed holding her scapulars and prayed. When she got up from her knees she found the butter was made.
