  1. A Ghost Story.
    Many years ago there lived a wealthy gentleman around Adare. He was master of the fox hounds and he had a beautiful residence not far from this village. This man was a very strict master to his employees and he was also very unjust to all the poor farmers that lived in the neighbourhood.
    Once or twice each week he would call a meet of the hunt club and they would hunt the fox through hill and valley and every time they came to a field of wheat or oats or any crop that the poor people had to labour hard at, he
