    The front of the chimney was made of clay and waffles.
    Half doors were in every house and some can be seen still.
    There is a cluster of these old houses on the old road leading from the village to the prvate entrance to the P.P.'s House.
    Turf and wood was used as material for fires. Coal and wood are used now.
