    Sore Eyes
    There is a local holy well (Paradise Well). Three rounds made round the well while reciting the Rosary together with washing the eyes in the well is the local cure.
    Warts.
    In olden times the number of warts was noted. A stone for each wart was tied in a bag which was deposited at a cross roads. The finder was supposed to get the warts. Another cure was to rub fasting spittle to them.

    The application of Cob web was relied on locally.
