    On the evening of April 30th a farmer and his wife took holy Water and sprinkled it on the different crops.
    May Day.
    Crosses were made and placed in wells and no one dared take water from the well on that day. On May day, too, it was an unwritten law that borrowing should not be practised.
    St John's Day.
    Bon - Fires were to be seen all over the locality.
