  1. One night as a man and a woman were coming home from a visit about twelve o'clock. When they came to a cross they heard laughing and shouting and they thought it was about a quarter of a mile away from them. They came on and when they came to the place where they heard they laughing and shouting it was crowded with people.
They went on another hundred yards and looked back but saw nobody.
