  1. One morning there were children going to school. When they were going out a gap they saw a small man standing at the side of the ditch.
    They went away and said nothing and when they came to the same gap the next morning he was there again but they said nothing to him.
    The third morning he was there too and the asked him the time and he said 9 o clock.
