    This song was composed by some young men from Bournea as a mimic of the above mentioned Jim Meagher . This Jim Meagher fell in love with a young girl from Mayo , who was vistiting at Ben Reeves. When she went away, the song was composed as a mimic of Jim Meagher's doings while she was there.
