    In summter time the girls go out into the meadows and pluck bunches of butter cups and daisies; with these they make necklaces and bracelets by putting a slit in the stems of the flowers and threading them together to form a chain

    We make wooly balls for babies to play. We get two round pieces of cardboard about three inches in diameter and cut a small hole int he centre of each about the size of a 6d. Place one on top of the other and wind coloured wool round the caroard when there is enough wool
