    There is a lis or fort in Ballinlough about a half mile S. W. of Bansha.

    shouted "Let go the calf." One of them said "The calf is ours". "Didn't you eat your calf" said the little man. He laughed, and continued, "In place of your calf you eat an old leathern breeches." With that he disappeared. The fort consists of two rings. The outside ring (cor) is 300 yds in circumference and the inside ring is 100 yds.
