    Carrigeen-moss: Carrigeen-moss is a cure for bronchitis or any chest trouble. It is boiled in milk and taken twice a day.
    Nettles: Young nettles are good for rheumatism. They are boiled and taken three times a year.
    Garlic: Garlic is a cure for blackleg in cattle. They are inoculated with it. A small cut is made in the skin of the cattle and a little piece of garlic is pushed in under the skin.
