    He was good for making poetry. Sara Murphy was the assistant.

    There is a field near Mrs Mongovan's cottage in Kanturk.There was a school there long ago O'Flanagan and Mulligan that taught there. Heffernan taught after them .There was a fight between the scholars of Mount Callan an Toulough boy at the school.The blood was running down the road.
    They had no copies long ago but slates and narrow stones for a pencil .They had no seats either ,but scraws.There was a school in Michael Mc Mahon's farm.The place was called "Gairdín na scoile" where the school was.
