    a month after her marriage. She goes accompanied by her husband literally called the “drag home.” It is take to mean that she is reluctant to go back to the drudgery of single life again. It is only in county districts that this custom is kept up.
    Another old custom still adhered to is this district is the wearing by the bride on the wedding morning of “something old and something new, something borrowed and something blue.” If the bride dresses out in her wedding attire before the wedding morning it is supposed to bring bad luck and of course to shed tears on a wedding day means year of misery and unhappiness.
