  1. There are several names of fields round about here, namely, the Smoothing Iron, Alhoey, Leana Phota, Long Crockan, Rampark, Molly Wee, Canail and Proclady.
    The Smoothing Iron is so called because it is of the shape of a smoothing iron. Alhoey, Leana Phota and Proclady are old Irish names handed down from generation to generation. There is only one height and it is called Irwins fort. There are several rocks round about here but, there are not names on them all. The names they are called are Connors' Rock and Hawes' Rock.
