- Three or six children stand in a line and the same number facing them and they keep going over and back singing, and then they have a pulling match, and whichever side pull's the best wins.
- All the children go round in a ring and sing a rhyme and one stands in the middle. There have to be six children. The farmer, The wife, the child, the nurse, the dog, the bone, and the meat.
And they sing.
He High hairy O The farmer wants a wife,
and the one in the middle picks out one for the wife, and then they sing,
He High hairy O the wife wants a child,
