    street. There was one old man called Pat Newman who when weaving talked to the fairies and any one who dropped in while he was at work he said "Whist? "do you see that little fellow with the green coat running along the yarn and beam. Isn't them the purtiest little shoes you ever saw. Whist? now listen he is playing the pipes, Isn't that a lovely tune." The poor old fellow through weaving as fast as he could all the time bestowed every possible mark of attention to the music and seemed to enjoy it very much yet nobody ever heard it but himself.
