With these words on his lips he died.
The first time he was seen I mean his Ghost was, Bessie Walsh and Mr. Davis was coming from Navan after selling Hats. As they pasted the place Boylan appeared and capsised their cart. Another night he took Hay off a man's back called Walsh. In the end he had to be settled.
Fr. Mathew, Fr. Cassidy and Fr. Brown was at the settling of Boylan. Fr. Mathew and Fr. Cassidy were St. Mary's Priests and Fr. Brown was a Duleek Priest. Fr. Mathew spoke to him and told him he would settle him in the Black Sea. He said, "Mathew, Mathew, you will not settle me". Fr. Brown settled him in his own house. In the room they left a Dole Table, Chair, Pipe and Tobacco.
There is a old grotto there and the Statue of the Blessed Virgin and a Picture and a Well. The remains of a church is still to(continues on next page)- Collector
