The houses in the neighbourhood are slated; there are one thatched house with mud walls and little windows in it. White's lived in it long ago. (The clay was mixed with water and some pieces of cut up straw to keep it from crumbling) The houses are called mud-wall houses. Brigid Ni h-Anaidh, Drumlargan 21-11-1937 Gallow N.S.
