Ring a ring of roses. This is another game we play in school. All the players form a ring and march around singing this little verse,
ring a Ring of roses
A bottle full of posies
who is on the green, Kitty's cap
Ike Ike! down we all fall.
When we come to the words Ike all the players fall down and so the game goes on.
Carry a Lady to London. Two children cross hands and carry another child singing
Carry a Lady to London
give me a pin to stick in her chin
to carry a Lady to London.
