- Marriage Customs 27-5-1938
Generally marriages took place in the afternoon long ago. There were (no) motor cars those times so they used to go to the chapel on side cars. When going to the Chapel the Bride was on the last car and when coming home The Bride and Groom, Best man and Bridesmaid were on the first car.
Long Long ago they used to go home on horse back, the Bridal couple were on the same horse he in front and she behind. (Long over 100 years ago)
