  2. Thank God

    One day a poor old man went into a farmers house. He asked him for a drink of buttermilk. The farmer gave him a drink of very sour buttermilk. The poor man took one drink and said "Thank God," and gave it back. The farmer said,
    "You may drink it all, I do not want it. I have plenty for myself. People say it is very good especially when it is sour." The old man replied,
    "I am only thanking God that it did not choke me."
