    There is a "stray sod" in the Mullagh Cruaid. It is said that little children who dies without Baptism were buried there. Anybody who steps on this sod goes astray.
    "Pedders Bush" grows on the side of the road near Bellinter. It is so called because a man named Pedder Daly lived under it.
    The "Jack Daws Nest" is a wide place on the road in Bellinter. Beside it is the Poll Mor. It is a big hole full of water. A carriage and horses were drowned there one time.
    The "Tinkers Garden" is a garden on the side of the road where gipsies stay.
    "The Ripps Cot" is a place where the Ripp and his wife lived on the side of the road. The Ripp was a robber and it is said that there is gold buried their yet.
