The Friar's Walk - A long narrow field beside Odder Castle
The Croppy Field - where the Croppies were buried after the Battle of TaraThe Ring Field - beside the Croppy field. A perfect green ring several feet in diameter can be distinctly seen in the field.The Mound Field - A little mound planted with whitethorn and ash trees, is in the centre of the field. A story says that a woman running from the wood - Crusca Pobail - nearby, buried the sacred Vessels there and covered them with clay. The field all round is perfectly level.Rath "Maeve" - Local tradition says that Queen Maeve was buried here on her journey home from Ardee.- Collector
